So i made Beef Stew last nite... my second time. its abit different from the first time i cooked it... as i added beef broth in n also balsamic vinegar.... But heck... it still taste YUMz!!! #happytummy :D
1) Heat oil. Brown marinated beef (i marinated with salt, pepper, cornflour, paprika, cayenne pepper, basil, balsamic vinegar---> yes, i simply put -.-")
2) Remove beef. Fry onion, garlic & chilli padi.... add oil if needed. Pour in chopped tomato paste (in can).
3) Stir in beef, potato, carrot and more freshly-cut tomatoes. U can choose to add in celery now (if u like it soft) or later (if u like it crunchy).
4) Add in some water or beef broth and a dash of Worcestershire sauce.
5) Allow to simmer for an hour to tenderise meat.
6) Salt & pepper to taste, if needed.
7) Serve with rice or mashed potato. :)
